Installation of Classic Stone Coated Metal Roof Tile-2

Let's continue to the installation of other accessories of stone coated metal roof tiles:

Barge installation

(1) the main classic roof tile side in the facade wall edge width is not less than 50 ㎜.

(2) After the folding of classic stone coated metal roof tile, the barge board cover need fixed on the tile battens on both sides with the nail,and the folding part of roof tile need covered.

Wall waterproof installation

1. Install underlayment and turn 20mm up the side wall

2. Measure from the lap of the last layed tile to the termination point, hard up against the side wall. This measurement is your BEND line, add 40mm to allow a turn up

along the sidewall, this is your CUTTING line.

3. Cut and bend the tiles and install onto roof face, tucking the turn ups behind the pre installed Wall Flashings.

4. classic roof tile where the wall continues past the roof rewuire a stopend flashing that ensures water is directed into the gutter.
 

Note: All the wall flashing board need overlap the vertical wall, the fllashing should cover the folded part of the main tile, and be nailed with nails, and then be tightly sealed with neutral weather sealant to ensure that there is no leakage point.
