Installation of Stone Coated Metal Roof Tile

Notes:

1.Step on the headcheck or where the two roof tiles meet.

2.Do Not step on a single tiles, make sure each step is placed where both tiles meet.

BATTENS

Recommended counter batten dimension is 50 x 80 mm. Tile batten size is 40 x 50 mm

(distance between rafters less then 900 mm).

The first batten is spaced 320mm from the front of the Eaves Flashing to allow a 50mm overhang into the gutter.

Valley Installation 

Place the Valley in the reserved position, and fix the two sides of the Valley and each connecting hanging tile with nails. There are two connecting methods as shown in the below picture, and the lap size of the two valley shall not be less than 50mm. 

Eave Installation

Interlocking of the tiles 

The main tile of each row shall be overlapped from left to right, bottom to top, and at staggered joints.
